Go to an exhibition with my friends

On March 7th 2009, I went to the Nanjing Museum with my friends Nelly, Doria and Kathleen. We arrived there at about 9:30a.m. The Nanjing Museum is big and beautiful. It is at No.321 Zhongshan East Road, Nanjing. The name of the exhibition was Chinese Cultural Relics Exhibition.

We went to one of the exhibition halls. There were many kinds of things in it, like some silk, jades, ceramics and so on in Ming and Qing Dynasties. We chose this museum not only because our friends introduced us to go there, but also because this museum has a lot of exhibits and a long history. This museum is one of the earliest museums created by China. It is a large comprehensive provincial-level historical and art museum. This museum's exhibition was free; the ticket of the exhibition was recycling. This was the practice of environment protection.

I like a lot of exhibits in this museum; I thought there were all beautiful and exquisite. I took many pictures with them. I supposed my favorite exhibit was "Screen with Flower and Bird Design Inlaid with Precious Stones". This Chinese Cultural Relics was made in Qing Dynasties A.D. 1644-1911. This exhibit had very delicate patterns. The birds on it like the real ones. They all had different actions and appearances. One of them was looking at the branches, one of them was lowering its head, one of them was combing its hair and another was flying to the sky. I thought this exhibit was really vivid and interesting.

I like this exhibition very much; I thought it was interesting, meaningful and useful. Through this exhibition I knew many things that I did not know before. Our Chinese Cultural was extensive and profound. It has a long history. These exhibits contain a lot of artistic value and historical value. Although the world is developing and changing everyday, these exhibits were still important and valuable. We should go to more exhibitions like this, and learn more Chinese traditional culture. It is useful forever.
